Good job to everyone for turning in their first round of google doc assignments. There are still a few people that I did not receive them from so make sure to check the list every morning. Also, you only need to share the document with me one time, even if you make changes later on just like how I can change the checklist without re-sharing it with you all each morning. Also, please hold onto all of your notes in a safe place. This can be in a journal, a bunch of papers stapled together, tucked inside of your textbooks, in a folder, wherever you can keep track of them. This will help us when we need to review it upon returning to school. Reading Lesson: Continue working on your novel study looking for and recording signposts as you read. I'll be sharing a document with you all listing all of the signposts, descriptions, and examples so that you can look for them and write them down. Please check your e-mail to find the signposts document. Math Lesson: We're going to start moving into measurement which is the mathematical study of amounts. How long something is, how much space is in it, things like that. We'll start with a review on angles. Assignment: Complete IXL 4th grade math Z.1 and Z.2 until you get a smartscore of 100. Social Studies Lesson: In your Maryland Adventure textbook, read pages 22-29 and take notes. Remember to keep your notes. Assignment: On page 31, complete the "Geography bowl" activity in the blue box. Don't worry about getting members to answer questions, just answer them on your own. This is a practice assignment, so you don't need to submit it. Science Lesson: Again, having finished up matter and letting you review I want to move onto the next unit to study which will be the study of Earth and Space sciences. To start, I want to tie in a bit about what you already read in social studies yesterday by taking a deeper look into climate. Assignment: Watch the following video and take notes. Remember to keep your notes. If you have any questions about any of the assignments, e-mail me or ask me through the contact page.
