Reading Lesson: Work on your novel study and look for examples of Aha Moments and Contrasts/Contradictions signposts. When you find a signpost, write it down in your packet (or make a new one if you left it here at school). Write down a description of the event, the page number you found it on, and why it's important to the story. Example: Aha moment - Page 25: Harry Potter finds out that he is a wizard when Hagrid visits him for the first time. This is important to the story because it begins the plot of the story where Harry Potter will go on to practice magic. This also shows us that Harry grew up without knowing the he was a wizard, and that he needs to learn about the magical world. Math Lesson: In your math textbook, read page 332. Assignment: Complete pages 332-333, numbers 1-12. Due today, March 16th. Title your google doc "Circles" Social Studies Lesson: In your Maryland Adventure book, read pages 4-20. Assignment: Answer the following questions in a google doc 1. What large body of water cuts through Maryland? 2. How did this large body of water form? 3. What sort of resources do we get from this large body of water? 4. In your own words, describe what Maryland's climate is like in at least 2 paragraphs. 5. What sort of animals are native to Maryland? 6. What sort of plants are native to Maryland? Due today, March 16th. Title your google doc "Maryland" Science Lesson: Watch the following video by clicking on the link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wyRy8kowyM8 Assignment: Create a Cornell notes sheet and take notes as you watch. Then, summarize the information in at least 3 paragraphs on a google doc. Due today, March 16th.
